The Unified Newspaper Database (UNDB) is a guide to over 4,095 newspaper titles held by the UGA Libraries. The UNDB contains information about the Place of Publication, the Title, the Years owned, and the Call Number where the title can be found in our collections.    The earliest year represented is 1623; please read the Note on Dates.

Our collections are separated by format.    Most of these newspapers are on Microfilm, but some are on Microprint, Microcard, Microopaque, or Microfiche.    Within each format, they are organized by Call Number.    Newspapers on microform are located in the Basement level of the University of Georgia Main Library.    Many of the Georgia newspapers were microfilmed through the Georgia Newspaper Project.
